CHAIN OF COMMAND

---------S E N I O R   S T A F F----------

ADMIRALTY (XO and CIC)

The CiC (Also known as Admiral) and the XO (Also known as Rear Admiral) share almost the same rights, the only difference is that the XO can be degraded or discharged by the Admiral, and the Admiral can be degraded or discharged only if all the Commodores and the XO agree.
They are the leaders of the Rogue Arrow Galactic Empire, and shall be proud to bear the insignia. They are the most loyal members in the Fleet.

-They have absolute control over any campaign, ladder, inter-fleet, or fleet matter.
-The Admirals have the charge of strategists and they Command EVERY RAGE's TF on the campaign, even the Commodore's, though its not well seen.
-They are to decide and design the strategical plans for the campaign, and the Commodores are to EXECUTE them.
-They are free to discharge or degrade any member of the Fleet, including the Commodores.
-If the CiC is to resign he must notify the Senior Staff, after the Senior Staff has found a replacement (must be within the Senior Staff) he may step down.
-If the XO is to resign he must notify the Senior Staff, after the Senior Staff has found a replacement (must be within the Senior Staff) he may step down.
-The admiralty is to determine any disciplinary action to be taken upon a Commodore.
-The admiralty is to approve special requests from the Commodores. E.g.: Squadron name changes, request of additional crew from other Squadron/s, etc.

COMMODORE

As the only member that can be promoted to be part of the Senior Staff, the Commodores are among the most loyal and active members in the Empire. They have almost the same rights that the Admirals have but they only have this authority in their squadron.

-Each Commodore has DIRECT command over ALL the members in his/her squadron.
-Commodore's duty is to arrange inter-squad disputes, he is to be notified first if any dispute takes place between a member in his/her squadron and other fleet's officer.
-He/She is to determine the sanction for any member in his/her squad.
-He/She is to prepare reports to admins if members in his/her squadron are involved in any dispute.
-Later on the campaign, each Commodore will have direct control over a Task Force, but they are obligated to act only if ordered by the Admiralty. E.g.: Ordered to Patrol a sector, search enemy's TF, Capture Planets, Defend Planets, etc.
Commodore's TFs are to be equal for all three squadrons (Composed of the same type and number of ships) and he/she can split them, but it has to be approved by the Admiralty (CiC or XO) first. The crew for the Commodore's TF has to be chosen from His/Her Squadron, in the case that additional crew is needed, crew could be taken from other squadron/s, but this needs approval of the Admiralty.
The Commodore is expected to be personally in every battle, but he/she might not be able to make it, so its not obligatory, nevertheless, it is obligatory that he flies on Planet Defense and Planet Capture missions.
-He/She is to oversee to proper fight of ladder matches, and make members under His/Her Command play the minimum of 2 (two) ladder matches per week, unless proper excuse is submitted to him/her, or Campaign matches were fought by that player/s in that Week.
-Commodores don't have minimum required battles, but remember that they are selected from the most active and loyal members in the Empire. As a Commodore, being active its also a way to encourage the officers under his/her Command to play as well.
-Commodores may also relinquish any of his/her activities to their second in Command (Captain of the Squadron), but if this right is used as a way to be freed from responsibility, he/she might be degraded from Command. However if the Commodore has been granted a LOA (Leave of Absence) The Acting Captain will be temporarily promoted to Commodore and he/she might choose a Captain from ANY member in his/her squadron who will be temporarily promoted to Captain. To relinquish a duty, the Commodore must notify all his crew so they know who to turn to should they require assistance.
-They are free to discharge any officer in his/her squadron
-In the case that his/her Captain is granted a LOA, he/she might choose ANY member of his/her squadron to be promoted temporarily to the rank of Captain. (All promotions in the last two cases are to be undone after the officer on LOA returns. No other rank changes should take place)
-They are to choose his/her squadron's name, but it has to be agreed by the Admiralty.

CAPTAINS

Captains are to help their Squadron's Commodore in any way they should require. They have the minimum requirement of 2 (two) weekly matches, unless proper excuse, or campaign battles had taken place in that week.

Almost all duties they have are those relinquished by the Commodore.

They are also seen as great players, because they are used to lead the Squadron's TF in all the battles that don't require the attention of the Commodore, which are a lot more than those which do.

-They are to be present in every Campaign battle in which his/her squadron's TF is present. Unless the Commodore is present.

COMMANDERS

The Commanders are within the most important officers, for they are used as the elite crew in the squadron's TF. To be a Commander, you'll have to be one of the most active people in the Squad, because its common that loyal and responsible officers are chosen to be captains, and skilled and active officers are granted the rank of Commander.

The Squadron's Commodore or Captain may give special tasks to the Commanders.

They have no other duties than to play the required 2 (two) battles per week, unless proper excuse or campaign battle.

He/She is to attend if required for a campaign battle by the Captain or the Commodore.

LIEUTENANTS (LIEUTENANT JUNIOR GRADE, LIEUTENANT, AND LIUTENANT COMMANDER)

The lieutenants are the bulk of the empire's force, they are used as the main commanding force of the majority of the Empire's light cruisers and frigates.
The three lieutenant ranks (Lt. JG, Lt., and Lt. Commander) are used only to organize the squad by activity, and thus, the likeliness for campaign battle selection.
They are expected to contribute with the majority of the Empire's ladder points.

ENSIGNS

Ensigns are considered officers, but they cant command ships in campaigns (unless they are desperately needed, in which case, the Commodore might grant a temporal Command Insignia)

To gain rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade Ensigns must first pass the Command Training, provided by the Squad's Commodore or Captain, (Admirals may also grant this training), upon completition of the Command Training, the Command Insignia Shall be awarded, which lets them play campaign battles, gives them Recruiting rights, and makes their promotion to Lt. JG effective immediately.

---------C A D E T S--------- (Trainees)

Only new recruits that are not familiarized with the game are to be put in Cadet rank.

Cadet rank is only used as a training rank, and should be used temporarily, like the Ensign rank.

To be promoted to Ensign, cadets must first pass the Officer Training, provided by the Commodore or Captain (Admirals may also grant this training), upon competition of the Officer Training, the Officer Badge shall be awarded, which lets them play ladder matches and makes their promotion to Ensign effective immediately.

--------------B A D G E S   A N D   I N S I G N I A S------------

The Officer Badge is wore on the member's GameSpy, GZ and GR name like this RAGE_-[OB]-

The Command Insignia is wore on the member's GameSpy, GZ and GR name like this RAGE_-[CI]-

To have the CI (Command Insignia) you must also have the OB (Officer Badge), so it is no necessary to wear them both, just the CI.

If a member who does not has an insignia is discovered wearing it, or using its privileges, disciplinary action WILL be taken.
